Chukoh Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. has developed "xACH-6200," a foamed silicone adhesive tape with excellent heat insulating characteristics.
It can be easily applied and used as a heat insulating material to protect the area around heat generating materials. By combining foamed silicone with glass cloth, which has dimensional stability, it can be used in high temperature environments without expanding or contracting. It also has excellent cushioning characteristics, making it useful as a buffer material for equipment and work sites. It can be used in environments up to 200°C.
Product details
This adhesive tape is a composite of glass cloth and foamed silicone resin. The silicone resin is foamed and contains tiny air bubbles, improving the insulation effect. In addition, the use of a silicone-based adhesive makes it highly heat resistance.
