Tube / Hose
PTFE Heat Shrink Tubing
- Tube / Hose
- ROHS Directive
overview
By inserting the base material into the tube and shrinking it with heat, the properties of PTFE can be imparted to the surface of the base material. Coating construction is also available.
Applications
・Roll covers for copy machines
・Coating of communication cables and power cables
-Coatings for connectors, terminals, etc.
Notes on shrinkage method
● Heating with a heat gun will cause uneven shrinkage. We recommend heating evenly in an electric furnace.
●The processing conditions are approximately 10 minutes at 350℃. (Actual temperature varies depending on the furnace.)
Increasing the processing temperature will shorten the processing time, but please note that the product will become more susceptible to cracking.
● Depending on the material of the mating material, discoloration may occur. When shrinking, please check the heat resistance temperature of the mating material before use.
